What a fun Friday night we spent at the race track in Fargo. My cousin Brock from Fergus has been racing the past few years, so we thought we would go watch him. Growing up, my brother Kyle raced for about 16 or so years. Kelly even got some racing in too. That is how my summer weekends were spent. My cousin Nicole and I have a lot of memories of several different tracks in the area. We would load up early and ride in the hauler if we were lucky. We even made up some pretty silly songs about racing and the drivers. Over all of the years, I don't think too many nights were missed.
When we got there, we found out that Kyle was going to be driving someone's car, so we got to watch him race too. Nevaeh was pretty excited to see Uncle Kyle getting in the race car.
Here is Brock getting into his car. He has had an awesome year. Tonight he won the track points leader at the Fargo track and is also 1st in the national rankings. With the racing season coming to a close this fall, we hope that he can stick out that 1st place finish.
Bodin absolutely loved them. He would follow the cars round and round the track. Maybe someday Nevaeh and Bodin will be driving one of them too. Hopefully James get them into a go cart soon to start practicing.
Aunty Wanda took Nevaeh to the candy toss and then after that they hand out gold coins to some of the kids. Way to go Nevaeh, you were one of the lucky ones they picked to get the coins!!!
Bodin took a little cat nap and then was ready to go again until midnight.
Uncle Kyle hopped into Brock's car to get a picture with the kids.
Cousin Brooke was not shy at all, she hopped right inside the car.

The good old days!! I laughed so hard thinking about all the songs we made up!! Maybe we could publish them and make some money. People would love them! We could have them as a theme song for Racing!
